It’s the 25th annual celebration of the monarch migration, which includes a live release of butterflies. There’s also a display of more than 300 preserved butterflies, a parade and costume contest, butterfly-themed art from local students, and arts and crafts. The event is dog-friendly, too. Oct. 15
