Called “the best musical of this century” by The New York Times and a nine-time Tony Award-winning Best Musical, The Book of Mormon will hit the Music Hall at Fair Park’s  stage in August. The comedy follows an unlikely pair of missionaries who travel to Uganda to spread the word on their faith. Note that the show contains explicit language. Aug. 1-6

The popular Disney movie Frozen comes to life as a Broadway musical under award-winning director Michael Grandage. The musical features favorites from the Oscar-winning film, such as “Let It Go,” plus additional songs from the same award-winning writing team. The New Yorker calls the show “thrilling” and “genuinely moving.” Expect incredible special effects, sets and costumes, too. Aug. 10-20
