Suhail Sharif, MD specializes in surgical management of advanced colorectal, hepaticobiliary, pancreatic, melanoma/sarcoma, breast and GI tract malignancies. He is an expert in minimally invasive surgical management of cancers, and is also trained in Robotic-assisted DaVinci® Surgery.

Dr. Sharif deals with all aspects of cancer care from diagnosis to definitive therapy while employing a multidisciplinary approach. He believes in comprehensive patient care with a personal touch.

Patients have praised Dr. Sharif’s ability of explaining medical conditions and treatment in easy to understand terms that “non-medical people can comprehend.” He provides sensitive, thoughtful and knowledgeable medical care under the most trying circumstances for patients and their families.

Dr. Sharif offers surgical management for cancers in many areas of the body, including the head and neck, esophagus, stomach, pancreas, colorectal, liver, bile duct, kidney, skin, sarcoma, breast, endocrine and gynecological oncology. His special interest is in complex gastrointestinal cancer.

Besides having a strong passion for cancer care, Dr. Sharif also provides all general surgical procedures, including those for diverticular disease, benign biliary disease, hernia, abdominal wall and bariatric surgery. He is one of the few providers of Intraperitoneal Hyperthermic Chemoperfusion for advanced abdominal cancers with carcinomatosis in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Dr. Sharif holds many leadership positions in the Fort Worth and Arlington area hospitals. This enables him to define and establish state of the art cancer care locally. He believes that every cancer patient should be entitled to exceptional cancer care regardless of his or her geographical location.
